What Teresa Labadie doesn't like about Mu Wang BBQ & Bar:
View all feedback.
Grilled objects all tasted the same. I didn't kill you. that's all. don't get me wrong, it didn't taste bad. the grilled items were really delicious, but as they tasted equally, it is like eating the same plate, regardless of wether they ordered bark or gizzard or chorizo or lamb. the kung pao chicken is a strong serve and tasted good. I have mixed feelings about the baby cabbage. the smashed gurke was the highlight of the night. everywhere the food was good and the food stuff had a few wins. what turned me off was the personal. the personal was loud, grumsy and inattentive. they left out a series of exletive within the earstake of customers and would give customer requests apart as if they could not be disturbed until one of them actually stands up to do/forgot it.
The grilled dishes all had a similar taste. It wasn't terrible, they were actually quite delicious, but they all tasted the same regardless of whether it was bark, gizzard, chorizo, or lamb. The kung pao chicken was flavorful and enjoyable. The baby cabbage left me with mixed feelings. The smashed cucumber was the standout of the evening. Overall, the food was good and my dining companion also enjoyed their meal. However, the service was lacking. The staff was loud, clumsy, and inattentive, which was a turn-off for me.

The grilled dishes all had a similar taste, which was surprising. While they were delicious, the lack of variety made it feel like you were eating the same thing regardless of whether you ordered beef, gizzard, chorizo, or lamb. The Kung Pao Chicken was a generous portion and tasty. The baby cabbage left me with mixed feelings, but the smashed cucumber was a standout dish of the evening. Overall, the food was good with a few standout dishes, but the staff was a major turn-off. They were loud, grumpy, and inattentive, often using inappropriate language in front of customers and passing off requests to one another without taking action until prompted.
Our Chinese colleagues hosted a farewell dinner for one of our coworkers at this restaurant. I particularly enjoyed their lamb barbecue offerings, which my Indian colleagues and I loved. The cucumber dish, seasoned with a hint of salt and other condiments, had a delicious taste. I also highly enjoyed the beef dumplings, although the pork filling was a bit tangy and watery for my liking. The shrimp barbecue was another highlight for me, but the lamb barbecue ultimately stole the show. The baked sliced potatoes in a tangy garlic sauce were also a hit. My coworkers also ordered some baked egg buffalo wings and a variety of beef and pork dishes, which were a hit with everyone. Overall, it was a gastronomic delight at this restaurant.
