Lorenzo's Way - Makati

A good resto to dine in with family and friends. Awesome creative menu in filipino and fusion cuisine. Though its quite crowded and during holidays and weekends, its still worth the wait.

I’ve worked in the service industry for a long time and I have to say this was the worst experience I’ve had with waitstaff. My friend was very thirsty, so I requested some water while we waited for our food order. After my first request being ignored, I asked again ten minutes later. When I asked the second time, their employee Drew “shh’d” me. I’ve never felt so disrespected. If you’re going to Lorenzo’s Way, you should hope this person doesn’t wait on you. And I hope if the owners of Lorenzo’s Way reads this, they know they hired a person who couldn’t care less about their guests.

Had a terrible experience at this restaurant. We ordered food first for our toddler and requested it MUST be served first. After 1.5 hours they served all the entrees but not they baby food and they admitted they mistakenly served the food to the other table and will take another 45 mins to cook. Food is just okay nothing extra ordinary. It takes them forever to serve the food and not enough wait staff. All the food is just standard. I do not recommend this resto and will never go back!

I think they were on their element tonight. Bong waited on us and was very attentive. Salpicao was an excellent starter. La mancha was good, a bit unsalted, but enjoyable nonetheless. The stars were the bamboo rice, sugpo with aligue, and beef and reef. For diners, I will suggest not to pair bamboo rice with sugpo with aligue, the umami explosion was a bit overwhelming for me. Pleasant surprise on the Beef and Reef, the raisin hollandaise I thought won't work, but it did. Back again? Yep, worth going back.

Service was good, food is commendable. Portion sizing of tenderloin steak is about 4oz, so if you are a big eater, better order additional dish. Oh and better ask for medium rare, bec medium-well skewed more on well-done.
