Was IOR at Ayà a mag?
The chefs at Ayà truly know their craft! The food was excellent, and the ambiance was delightful, filled with plenty of natural light during lunch. The Pansit Negra was packed with flavor, and the Mushroom Dinakdakan Toast was a masterpiece bursting with a subtle earthy taste! I'm excited to dine here at night next time I have the opportunity. We celebrated our 11th anniversary at Ayà, and it was an amazing experience! The location is convenient, and the exclusivity adds to its charm. We made an 11 AM reservation, which was a fantastic choice since we had the entire place to ourselves. We enjoyed the pares toast, kinilaw, pansit negra, Binondo steak rice, banana pudding, and guava spritz—everything was delicious! My husband, a cook himself, was particularly impressed with how they managed to remove the lansa from the squid while preserving its flavor. The staff made our anniversary even more special by surprising us with shots and a handwritten note—a truly thoughtful gesture! The only minor drawback was that the AC was a bit weak, possibly because they had just opened for the day. Overall, this was our first experience close to fine dining, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommended! Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: ₱2,000+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Pansit Negra
We had a wonderful experience at Ayà. The service was excellent, and the cozy atmosphere was just right for a date night over drinks. The Adobo Pâté was a delightful surprise! It was perfectly whipped, light, and bursting with flavor. While the Sinuglaw lacked depth and texture, it was undoubtedly the most visually appealing dish we tried. We had a hard time distinguishing the fish from the meat in the Binondo steak fried rice; the steak was incredibly tender and flavorful, and the runny egg on top was the cherry on top. The banana bread fusion was a surprising combination of flavors that worked beautifully (it even had patis!). It was a fantastic way to cap off the evening. Each dish came with a thoughtfully chosen alcoholic pairing that complemented its flavors perfectly. Service: Dine-in. Meal type: Dinner. Price per person: ₱2,000+. Food: 4. Service: 5.
