It offers traditional Hawaiian luau experience with a focus on Polynesian culture, entertainment, and food. They cook pig in very traditional way! Guests can enjoy a buffet-style meal with a variety of Hawaiian and Polynesian dishes, such as kalua pig, poi, and haupia, while being entertained by hula dancers, fire dancers, and other Polynesian performances. There is a lighthouse right by the property, really adds extra flare to the luau! Parking: If you arrive early then free parking! Wheelchair accessibility: Little difficult

Driving to the event space took you through kind of a sket... read more A friend recommended this luau to us on a family vacation because the one at our resort was sold out. Driving to the event space took you through kind of a sketchy area, and once there it cost five dollars to park. You are greeted warmly upon entering and presented with shell leis. Your party poses for a picture, a copy of which you can buy later for 20 dollars (and it comes beautifully packaged). There was a man doing hand-drawn tattoos, as well as women making flowers for your hair (all for free, but tips encouraged). We sat at a table-clothed picnic bench in the sand with gorgeous ocean views. We were presented with two drink tickets (non-alcoholic drinks are free). The bar is easy to get to and offers fast service, with a vast menu of fruity/tropical drinks. There is a ceremony of the pig at the beginning of the presentation that is very cool. You are called by table for the buffet line which includes fruit, salad, rice, chicken, pork, fish, and more. The entertainment was top notch which includes dancing, fire, and they even allow you on stage to do a dance. Your ticket can be turned in for a free gift at the end of the night. Fantastic experience.

We got there a little early (30 minutes), and was able to... read more Came to Germaine's Luau for my and my son's birthday. On recommendation of comedian Gabriel Iglesias. We got there a little early (30 minutes), and was able to enjoy some time at the beach park next-door. The staff was amazing. From the ladies, working the parking, the ladies working the ticket booth, the gentleman directing us for pictures and drinks. Overall, every person we met, there was spectacularly wonderful. Especially since it was Thanksgiving day. The person who gave us our little tattoos, was also an excellent dancer. The young ladies, who made the flowers for our hair, also amazing dancers. Watching them pull the pig from the pit was awesome, the food was delicious, the pork was tender, the vanilla buttercream cake was absolutely perfect. Just sweet enough. Everything felt like homemade food and it was a lovely experience.
