The dining area downstairs is very cozy and the bar upstairs was full of people (very lively) The waiters were excelent but the food was not the best. We started with buñuelos de bacalao , no comments... Ordered cachopo and had to send it back to the kitchen to finish cooking , by the time it got back, was not hungry anymore. Two of us had the fish of the day and ate it but the flavor was very strange and the portion was extremely small. One person ordered chipirones and said it was good. I dont think i will go back.....and I usually like to make good reviews...sorry for this one.

We took 2 degustation menus a... read more We were party of 4 two adults and two children. Reservation was made on line, with a bday cake request and was confirmed by email. We took 2 degustation menus and one half portion of kid with polenta. Every dish was very good with some simply beyond imagination, especially the roasted kid, the calamari potato stew, the fish. The deserts were also top notch the bday cake and the apple in different textures. Word of warning a degustation menu is too much for one. We'd better taken one degustation and two half mains. At EUR 50 per degustation set of such quality it is a bargain

Very nice croquetas and ok wine but awful, rude, unh... read more It’s been a long time that I’ve been made to feel so unwelcome in a Spanish restaurant let alone in Madrid. Very nice croquetas and ok wine but awful, rude, unhappy waiters. To be fair, it was busy, but they must be run ragged and underpaid to have been so unhappy and abrupt with clients.
