I had only read about them but was so glad I tried it. It is like a crispy custardy french toast nestled in a syrup of sweet milk (diluted condensed milk? . Totally unnecessary to have first thing in the morning alas totally delicious! My missus had perfectly fried eggs and some bacon (no photo My spanish and comprehension is only so so so while I thought I was ordering some egg dish with ham... I must have ended up ordering a bocadillo... so not what I wanted but I don 't blame the establishment it was perfectly fine luckily my missus gave me one of her fried eggs so I threw it into the sandwich and it made it a solid A+ This is definitely the kind of place that if I was staying for longer in the area I would gleefully run to for a great sweet and savory breakfast right after the gym or run. I thought the staff was really nice and patient too.

The portions are plentiful for that reason we shared a portion of cake, we did not have lunch or dinner but we saw around us that people had tasty lunch and shared the menu of choice. In general the place is visited by locals, but English is spoken: the staff is very predisposed. The prices are very accessible.
