I have a 30 year history with Spanish bars and a local Spanish bar is the drum beat of life… breakfast, the second breakfast, the aperitivo, lunch, tomar algo. Rocafria caters to every slot. I go for a habitual cafe con leche in vaso and a hot plate toasted fresh croissant for breakfast. There is a real skill, real technique in how a well run bar operates. The morning/day crew are tested the most and this is a team of highly experienced, high drilled camareros with the owner (or owners son) present too. For me this bar is an institution it does 10,000 small things consistently excellent this bar represents the timeless qualities of a Spanish Bario or Spain. And not is it easy; nor do you take this pace and it’s service for granted this is a team that has mastered its craft!
