Excellent food and the wine pairing is definitely recommended. Only thing a little slow on explanation about the food will be good : . Service is excellent!
Very nice food experience in the heart of Madrid, one of senses was very happy yesterday while trying the food from chief of Lua. Combinations, texture, taste all were so so good, that I’m still not willing eat anything else.
I'll rate Luxa as 3 stars as for the food itself. Service and other details still have room to improve as Michelin recommended restaurant. But... it's not important to me as long as the food is great!
I enjoyed the food. In terms of quality, it fulfilled the expectation for a 1 star restaurant. Presentation of some dishes might be a little better. However, the service was not at the required level (and expected). First, the staff spoke English quite badly. They were not very friendly and welcoming on our arrival. I burned the water instead of water. We have two glasses of Cava as an aperitif. The bottle went empty when they poured my glass, so I got about 2/3 of the amount they already poured into the glass for the other guest. But instead of opening another bottle and overthrowing my glass, they just left it that way. You only have a la carte menu in English, but do not offer us tasting menu (which we wanted). We had to ask for it. Overall, they were not very attentive. As soon as the menu started, the service eventually became better and there were no more problems, but that did not quite for the very sloppy and unpleasant beginning, which is a shame. For the food itself, although I don't mind coming back. In any case very nice and price was very reasonable for 1 star in Spain.

Great food, I recommend the tasting menu. The service and atmosphere are ok for a Michelin star restaurant (not fantastic but nothing major to complain about either)
Have been coming here on and off for over 15 years and the food experience has consistently improved. Tasting menu tasty and varied all with hints of Galicia. I took the menu with the wine tasting option. Again mainly Galician and mainly white. All the wines individually good, although as with other tasting options, I’m not sure that the rating actually worked that well. Rather than contrasting or emphasising elements of the food, they just were. Shame. But overall a great experience and in the context, good value for money. Highly recommended.
Really disappointed, the service was really slow, they poured the full wine glass without letting me taste it, all dishes were HUGE, and not delicate or well thought out, definitely not well balanced, it was not at all michelin quality, shocked at the michelin star, they don't deserve it
Michelin star and two repsoles. it is true that this is all good, but nothing spectacular, much less surprising or innovative. the pairing is very loose, they must improve references.the very rich desserts.
