Both the presentation and flavors of dishes were excellent, particularly the tomato tartare and foie gras. The specialty dessert, a tarta with a liquid center, was also a standout. The wine selection was good and the service friendly and efficient. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here. View all feedback.
What Saúl Garza doesn't like about Lúa:
Really disappointed, the service was really slow, they poured the full wine glass without letting me taste it, all dishes were HUGE, and not delicate or well thought out, definitely not well balanced, it was not at all michelin quality, shocked at the michelin star, they don't deserve it View all feedback.
Good food, we'll be back. I do not put the maximum note in any of the 3 concepts by: not giving the little point made to the meat even though we had already returned it for that; sitting on the terrace, we had not asked in the reservation, and not going to the place when requesting it. and that, for the level of 1 Michelin star, it is insufficient a single waiter to attend to the entire terrace where we were about 30 people, although it proved professional.
Michelin star and two repsoles. it is true that this is all good, but nothing spectacular, much less surprising or innovative. the pairing is very loose, they must improve references.the very rich desserts.
A unique but to the excellent dinner we enjoyed: the music leftover.
I'll rate Luxa as 3 stars as for the food itself. Service and other details still have room to improve as Michelin recommended restaurant. But... it's not important to me as long as the food is great!
I enjoyed the food. In terms of quality, it fulfilled the expectation for a 1 star restaurant. Presentation of some dishes might be a little better. However, the service was not at the required level (and expected). First, the staff spoke English quite badly. They were not very friendly and welcoming on our arrival. I burned the water instead of water. We have two glasses of Cava as an aperitif. The bottle went empty when they poured my glass, so I got about 2/3 of the amount they already poured into the glass for the other guest. But instead of opening another bottle and overthrowing my glass, they just left it that way. You only have a la carte menu in English, but do not offer us tasting menu (which we wanted). We had to ask for it. Overall, they were not very attentive. As soon as the menu started, the service eventually became better and there were no more problems, but that did not quite for the very sloppy and unpleasant beginning, which is a shame. For the food itself, although I don't mind coming back. In any case very nice and price was very reasonable for 1 star in Spain.
