The food and service were good. I had the fish and chips and they were tasty. Friendly atmosphere. They advertised home made pies but didn't have any. Would stop here again.

Tired after a longish drive from Toronto, we refuelled at this cool, funky small-town pub-restaurant. Nice wooden beams and floors. Good friendly informative staff and lots of rib-/sticking choices washed down with cold beer and wine. We enjoyed a huge plate of nachos and some local beer. Service was quick, food plentiful and the atmosphere was fun and friendly. This was a favourite of our hosts who lived about an hour's travel north!

I stopped here on my way to Algonquin and tried the smoked meat reuben with a salad and poutine, accompanied by a local draft beer.
