Sunny Side Up offers good homecooked meal any day of the week and the staff is very friendly. Our family particularly enjoys their Wednesday and Saturday Japanese nights. Used to like picking up a chicken meal on a rainy day from this restaurant...until today. I called in my order usually a 30 minute wait otherwise), had difficulty getting my order straight with the person on the other end of the call. The food at this restaurant is fantastic and the staff is amazing.
The food was prepared exactly as I asked, which is rare these days! It was also well worth the price - I had the big breakfast and I am full. The coffee was hot, fresh, and delicious - another rarity! I will definitely be coming back here for breakfast whenever I am in the area.
This breakfast restaurant is the best, offering generous portions at very competitive prices. They also serve authentic Japanese food on Japanese nights!
On Friday April 22, 2022 my wife and I went to Sunnyside Up for an early dinner. The place place is pleasant and clean. We got a nice table. My wife had the 2 piece chicken with fries, coleslaw and I had the 3 piece chicken with fries, and coleslaw. Generous portions and cooked perfectly in their special chicken fryer. We also had coffee, which was also good. The owner served us and he was very friendly. We really enjoyed our meal, and we will be back. 2 thumbs up.
Sunny Side Restaurant is a little gem if you find yourself in Madoc ON or travelling Highway 7. The food, fried chicken, was delicious! The best I have had in years. The owner was extremely polite and courteous! So glad we took a little detour off Highway 7 to try this restaurant... you should too.
