World Buffet - Madison
World Buffet
Description
A sprawling buffet blending Chinese and American fare, notable for a wide selection including hibachi and pho stations. Most dishes are kept hot and well stocked, offering both indulgent and lighter choices. Guests praise the food quality and friendly staff, though service can be uneven and plates have been cleared prematurely. Cleanliness and upkeep show room for improvement, and parking fills quickly during busy times. Value opinions vary — some find lunches affordable while others call dinner overpriced. Onion is used widely, so those with allergies should exercise caution.

If you are craving Chinese food and lots of it, well look no further. World Buffet has a great variety of Chinese and American cuisine. The egg rolls are a overcooked and it takes a decent amount of time to get new food out, but it still satisfies all appetites. The staff are friendly and are eager to serve.
Pho and hibachi station were very good. Items on general buffet were ok but nothing stands out above the rest. Staffing is expressionless and dry as if no one wants to be there.
They didn't have some of the things that I normally would have liked but it was okay.
I often visit this restaurant when it's busy, and it consistently delivers great food. I believe it's a really good Chinese buffet.
The website says Chinese and American food. My friends and I went here for dinner, they like Chinese, I do not. I was very disappointed in the variety of American food available. I had a salad, fruit, and dessert. There was one pizza that was dried up, a beef roast that didn't look very good, and mashed potatoes that looked dried up. Needless to say, it was an expensive salad buffet for me.
