We did the 'Expression Session, ' which is not a tutorial or classroom like setting, but just painting whatever you please. The prices ranged from $10 $35 (depending on canvas size) the brushes, paint, aprons, etc. were included. For those unsure of what to paint, there were many example canvas that can be used to provide a bit of inspiration, and there seemed to be no time limit for that kind of session. We stayed for ~3.5 hrs that felt like no more than a single hour, because we were having such a good time. We got drinks and food all were delicious very reasonably priced, and the service we received from all the people working there was fantastic. I can highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun night with friendly people in a place that upholds the laid back, unique 'Willie Street ' atmosphere.

Initially, I was quite anxious about painting on the canvas, as I don't see myself as someone with artistic talent, but the staff was wonderfully encouraging and informative. I'm really pleased with how my artwork turned out. There were plenty of example pieces available for various skill levels, which made it much easier to dive in. Although I went with friends instead of taking a class, the team was still very helpful, providing us with basic skills, suggestions, and valuable feedback. The beer and soup were delicious, and the attentive paint bar staff made sure that the brushes were well taken care of. I would definitely come back for another session, and I highly recommend this experience for both experienced artists and those who don't consider themselves artistic at all.

All you do is mingle and learn how to paint step by a step a painting of your choice or the project of the night.

It turns out that painting and drinking at the sam... read more I've gone to paint bar several times to do the freestyle painting and have had a lovely experience each time. It turns out that painting and drinking at the same time is incredibly relaxing! The artists/servers get you all set up with your materials and offer helpful painting tips, bring you wine and food if you wish, and then they clean up after you. I always go with friends, but after a while we all get absorbed in our own projects and conversation just fades away. To me, it's the perfect way to de-stress.
