Inside is so pretty! So many menu options but as a first timer here, it was difficult to understand the ordering process! But totally worth it!! So many options!! Very good for a hole in the wall and if you haven’t really tried very much Asian food theMongolian beef and short ribs with honey sauce will be right up your ally

I don’t usually give 5 stars however ….. I thought I’d never get to taste this dish again living in Wisconsin. The dish is called ???? Ants climbing a tree I’m so impressed by how the dish tastes exactly like how my grandma would make it backhome. Thank you Nani for these amazing comfort food I will be coming back more than you think

Fantastic food with fantastic service. We’re visiting from Louisiana, and I have to say that you guys have quite the hidden gem here. The restaurant has a nice and relaxing atmosphere. The walls were covered in beautiful local art for sale. And, mostimportantly, the service was great. Our server Savina (I hope that’s right) was really kind and helpful. She answered all ourquestions about the menu and helped us make some of our decisions. She also predicted what we might need and took care of thingspreemptively. For example, we had mentioned that we were going to split the dishes so she brought a separate bowl and spoon forus to split the soup without us having to ask (something that wouldn’t have occurred to me to ask). Little things like that goa long way. I don’t have pictures of everything we ordered, unfortunately. But for $60 (including tip) we got shrimpdumplings, seafood hot and sour soup, fried green chive cakes, baked BBQ pork buns, the spicy garlic pork entree, and deep-frieddough sticks for dessert. Oh, and a coke. It’s a bit of a splurge for the two us, but these were all dishes we had never hadbefore and we took about 1/3 of the food back with us for leftovers. We’re staying at a hotel next door, and it’s going totake all of our willpower to not just have every meal here. If we do end up moving here, Nani will be at the top of our list oflocal favorites.

Last time I was there was about 10 years ago and after 2-3 tries decided I to give up on it. I heard some positive reviews lately and wanted to give it another try. Peking Duck 4/5, lobster 4/5, shrimp chive dumpling 2/5, shrimp crepe 3/5, wrapped fried donut 4/5, pan fried pork and veg Bun 2/5, coconut pudding 4/5, green beans 3/5, sticky rice wrap 3/5, meatball 4/5, Montu bread 3/5. Overall I think it has improved a lot but still not comparable to chicago Dim sum. However, you get dishes that are decent and can’t find anywhere else in Madison so I would go again if I had a craving and didn’t feel like driving to Chicago.
