I grabbed lunch for two for under $20, and it was fantastic! We had white rice as our main course, and it made for a lovely meal with leftovers for dinner. The couple who owns the restaurant is really friendly. It's primarily a takeout place, but the menu is extensive (check out the attached photo). What Truth about Everything dislikes about Mandarin Express:
I'm giving this restaurant three stars because there were only two staff members working, and my order took over 45 minutes to be completed. However, it was quite busy, with around 25 other customers waiting for their food. They were clearly overwhelmed, and my order was quite large since I was ordering for ten people. This charming little takeout restaurant is just ideal for Madison County, and the quality of the food is absolutely outstanding!
I'm a local and Its my go to place. Cant go wrong with the chicken fried rice and steamed dumplings, such good food!!!
Big disappointment, but only option in Madison. Won’t be back.
This is without a doubt the best American Chinese food around. The General Tso's chicken is top-notch!
Delicious food at an affordable price—this is definitely one of my favorite dining spots!
