What Berniece Bode doesn't like about Blue Velvet Lounge:
I was under the impression that it is not okay for a male to punch a female in the face.. until tonight when I went to Blue Velvet. I was pushed out of the bar by a bartender for defending my roommate who was punched while trying to leave. I guess it was our fault for being female and looking like we wanted to be hit. My mistake. Great spot to have a drink with friends. Thursdays they have Latin night which is always a good time. On Saturdays, it's Hip Hop night. They specialize in Martinis. Bartenders are cool. If you decide to go ask for K. Cole. View all feedback.
