Biladi Grill - Madison
Biladi Grill
Description
Biladi Grill presents a mixed culinary experience, as patrons navigate between disappointing and delightful dishes. While some diners lament overly seasoned, under-portioned meals and inconsistent quality—such as dry fish and overly salty hummus—others celebrate the fresh, flavorful fare and attentive service. Standout dishes like the Kofta, chicken kebabs, and desserts like Kenufe and Baklava receive high praise, contributing to an overall enthusiasm for the restaurant. With a warm atmosphere and plenty of vegetarian options, Biladi Grill remains a local gem worth exploring, despite some critiques on consistency and execution.

Absolutely best food we've had in years! The red snapper was so tasty, and the Kofta lit up my mouth. Everything has so much taste to it. Service was very helpful too to navigate our food sensitivities.
What happened to you? What was once great food pre covid is now over seasoned with near non existent portions. I thought it was a fluke but after multiple disappointments these past few months I'm not coming back. There was maybe a tablespoon worth of chicken in my pita. Everything salted to an unbearable level. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner
My boyfriend recently took me here, with him and his family, and the food was delish! I got the shawarma platter and it was 10/10. I also HAVE to recommend the lemonade, it was homemade and to die for Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Shawarma Platter
The restaurant has amazing food and a wonderful atmosphere. I highly recommend trying the Spicy Hummus and Shawarma platter. The service is excellent and I would rate the overall experience as a 5 out of 5. Some recommended dishes include the Falafel Hummus Appetizers and the Shawarma Platter.
We really wanted Biladi Grill to be our new favorite restaurant. It won’t be. Food was fresh. But not special. The hummus was salty (the guy at the next table said the same thing! , and my red snapper wasn’t just char grilled it was overcooked dead dry as wood. The bulgar was OK. Maybe I should have stuck with chicken kebabs. Ah well. Not great, not bad, but should have been better. Still looking for a good simple Mediterranean grill in the area.
