Had a vegan sandwich with their house made chickpea almond veggie patty. Had a vegan aioli on it and pickle relish. The sweet potato fries are delicious and worth the upcharge. Also has a great cocktail menu. Went before seeing a show at the Barrymore just down the street. Great option for groups who have someone that wants a meat option, and as a backup if other places nearby are busy. View all feedback.
What TwoRabbits doesn't like about Alchemy:
Seems like there are two vegan options a Burger and a coconut curry. The burger was great with all of the toppings! Nice to see vegan sauces on the burger too seems like they care about the details. Hard to recommend this place with Green Owl (vegan restaurant) next door. But you can’t go wrong with Alchemy. View all feedback.
Delicious burgers and a menu that will please the Vegan/Vegetarian crowd. Generous portions. Lots of craft beer to choose from. The desserts looked scrumptious, but I was already bursting at the seams, so I took a pass. There WILL be a "next time" so I plan on leaving some room! Drawback: they accept cash or checks only, so plan accordingly.
It's pretty dang good. I will agree with one of the reviewers. Everything is excellent but for some reason I'm not dying to go back. The beer and food is great but somethings a bit non invitational. Maybe it's the parking or too many seats and its cramped inside. I will return but I wish it was a place I could see myself at more often. On a different note very kid friendly on a Sunday night and my family had a very comfortable and well served dinner.
I like this place, but I don't love it. Good food every time I go, but I don't ever beg people to go here. Im never disappointed, but Im also never overwhelmed.
My husband and I stopped at Alchemy on our way down to Rockton for our friends wedding. We always try to find an interesting place to eat when traveling... And this establishment did not disappoint!! We sat at the bar since we were kind of in a hurry and the bartender gave us excellent recommendations and superb service. The fact that even the bartender was well versed on their menu and gave us so much attention speaks volumes about the staff. We both had ****** marys that were delicious. They have a tang to them that we weren't used to and it was a nice surprise. We both ended up going with burgers of different styles and we were fighting on which was better!!! Our conclusion was that they were the best burgers we have had in years. We will absolutely be returning to Alchemy in the future and next time we will be doing entrées.. And making sure we have more time to spend there!
