This place came highly recommended, and it certainly lived up to the hype. It was here that I enjoyed my very first authentic pint of Irish Guinness. I later discovered that Murphy's is the local stout from Cork, so I made sure to try that as well. The Guinness was the best I've ever tasted, even better than what I had at the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin. The Murphy's was also outstanding. The food was both delicious and hearty, and the staff were incredibly warm and friendly, reflecting the hospitality I encountered throughout my travels in Ireland. We are definitely planning to return during our next trip later this month.

I’m not particularly fond of the bread they serve (which is sourced from a local bakery), so we usually skip lunch. However, the East Ferry chicken on the evening menu, priced at €17, is a fantastic deal. My only complaint is that the sauce accompanying it can vary greatly, ranging from exquisite to just average. The wagyu beef skewers are flavorful, though they can be a bit large and chewy at times. The quality of the sauce for the beef also varies. There have been occasions when some key ingredients were missing from certain dishes. The tacos can be hit or miss as well—sometimes they are perfect, while other times they come out undercooked and rubbery. If they can resolve these inconsistencies, this restaurant has the potential to be outstanding. On a positive note, the service is generally quite good too.
