Menu
The menu of Loom from Macon comprises about 121 different menus and drinks. On average you pay about $20.3 for a dish / drink.
Loom has stirred mixed feelings among patrons, showcasing a blend of delightful drinks and striking decor alongside significant culinary shortcomings. While cocktails like the Reddy Teddy impress and the goat cheese fritters receive rave reviews, many entrees fall disappointingly flat, often overcooked and lacking flavor. Service issues further cloud the experience, with staff overwhelmed and unresponsive to complaints. However, some guests have enjoyed their meals, praising the warm atmosphere and attentive service. Loom's potential remains evident, yet significant improvements are needed in food quality and customer service to elevate the dining experience to match its promising ambiance.

What User dislikes about Loom:
The food lacked flavor, and there were only two staff members handling the entire restaurant and bar, despite a woman in semi-formal attire who appeared to be the front-of-house manager. The service was slow, and the restaurant wasn’t even half-full on a Sunday. The shrimp and grits were overcooked, and there was some type of sausage on top that wasn’t mentioned in the description; it looked torn apart and was neithe... View all feedback.
I really enjoyed the atmosphere! I ordered the shrimp and grits, and while it had potential, the shrimp weren't cooked to my preference.
The valet service was not available at the front, so we had to hunt for a parking spot on the street, which was quite frustrating since there were hardly any cars around. The service left much to be desired; our server struggled to answer questions about the menu and often vanished for extended periods. The food was merely acceptable—nothing special. We had high hopes for an elevated breakfast experience, but we ended up feeling quite let down. Honestly, we would have had a better meal at Waffle House.
The food was excellent, though they forgot to include tomatoes in our arugula salad. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. The cocktails were disappointing, especially when compared to the rooftop bar; they just didn’t measure up at all. I couldn’t even drink mine, and there was no offer to replace it. Overall, it seems like there are some management issues to address.
This restaurant cuts corners, and you will be the one to pay for it. I went and had Christmas Dinner at Loom with my partner, and ordered the special Christmas Prime Rib. When it came out, it was completely overcooked and dry. It was honestly tough as old boots. In addition to this, the mashed potatoes were cold and gloopy, and my side of Green beans consisted of 5 under-seasoned beans. When I brought up my concerns about the meal to the waitress she said Sorry you 're not loving it, the prime rib is definitely cooked well done, because they cooked all of it this morning, and some customers have not ordered this dish because of that. Anyways might I recommend some of our desserts? and walked away. There was no indication on the menu or from the waitress before I ordered that the prime rib would be cooked lazily and incorrectly by the chefs, and no offer of any sort of resolution. My concerns were completely dismissed and steamrolled over by the staff, and if it wasn 't Christmas I would have made a bigger scene and not paid for this joke of a meal. 38 Dollars a plate for well-done charcoal that was sold as prime rib. Oh, and 5 green beans. Merry Christmas, I will never eat here again, and I will make sure nobody in my circle ever steps foot in the joke known as Loom. AVOID unless you like overpaying for food that is worse than you would get at waffle house, IHOP, or any other Diner. Get a big mac and have a better night, I am not exaggerating at all.
