Ordered lunch a half hour after opening for dine in, had to ask them to pack it up to go after seeing the dining room, which seemed like an inconvenience. They had not been open long enough for a lunch rush, only 11am. It did not look like it had beencleaned in several days or longer. There wasn't a single clean table or chair available at all. Probably the filthiest diningroom and fountain drink area I've ever seen in my life. I was truly horrified and nervous to eat the food and probably shouldn'thave. If that's how the dining room is kept, the kitchen must be worse. Service and food was just barely ok. No cole slaw ordipping sauce with my chicken strip box. Spicy chicken sandwich drowned in the spicy sauce. Fries were not fresh and extremelyoversalted. If we get sick, I know where it came from.
The food at the Macedonia location is usually quite good. Over the years, I've only run into one or two overcooked sandwiches out of the several dozen I've tried. It's conveniently situated near my workplace, and while it is fast food, it’s not gourmet. The service here is consistently excellent as well. The drive-thru is efficient, and the payment process at the window is quick, so I rarely have to deal with frustrating waits. The prices are very reasonable too; getting a sandwich meal for under $8 is fantastic these days, which is why it's one of my go-to spots for lunch. Personally, I usually order the Colonel's spicy chicken sandwich or the three-piece tenders. I'm not too familiar with the rest of the menu, but I’ve heard great reviews about the mashed potato bowls. We’ve also enjoyed their buckets of chicken. The coating on the fries is pretty good, although they do follow that newer trend of making fries that are mostly air.
