This is a fantastic gastro pub for a Sunday roast. The cozy atmosphere made our family (nine of us) feel right at home, and the staff took great care of us, even though it was quite busy.

This restaurant is fantastic! It has a stunning atmosphere and is very attentive to allergy concerns, with a diverse selection of gluten-free beers, meals, and desserts. I highly recommend it!
From the moment we arrived until we left, everyone we met was charming, helpful, friendly, polite, and efficient. The venue itself is stunning, and the food was excellent, with plenty of gluten-free and gluten-free altered options available.
This restaurant offers a fantastic gluten-free menu that is certified by the Coeliac Society. They have a great selection of starters, mains, and desserts, including gluten-free Yorkshire pudding! It's a delightful place to dine, set in a charming old building.

I absolutely love visiting Sutton Hall, especially for their Sunday lunch. The warm welcome is always a pleasure, and the food is undoubtedly exceptional. We were seated in the library, which features a cozy roaring fire and walls lined with books. The twinkling Christmas tree in the window added to the wonderful atmosphere. The food and service were both top-notch as always. It’s usually quite busy, so I recommend making a reservation. The roast meals are delicious, and the desserts are to die for. I’m definitely looking forward to coming back soon!
Date of visit: Monday afternoon, Aug 22. Fantastic building with nice garden. Food was great, a good 4, not quite 5. Dog friendly Wheelchair accessable Parking was not a problem Friendly staff Good ale selection Booking available on their website.
I had a wonderful lunch with friends after a long walk earlier in the day. The staff were friendly and helpful. We started by sharing garlic bread, and then I had the lamb pie, which was excellent, along with ham, egg, and chips. Our vegetarian friend was accommodated with a cheese sandwich that wasn’t on the menu, but the staff prepared it without any fuss. I also ordered a steak sandwich with fries, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. For dessert, I had a delicious chocolate brownie with ice cream, while my friend had a cherry tart, both of which were very tasty. The Directors beer was quite enjoyable, as was the rosé wine. Overall, it was a delightful visit.
Lovely place to chill and enjoy the summer. All the staff were lovely. Food nice but I was expecting better! Average pub grub!

I had lunch there on Wednesday, and it was fantastic! The menu, drinks, and ambiance were all impressive. I highly recommend this place, and I will definitely return next time I'm in Britain.
I had a fantastic first visit! The service was excellent, and the food was impeccable. There were great choices on the menu. I can highly recommend this place, and I will definitely return.
Both the exterior and interior of the hall are fascinating for anyone like me who appreciates a bit of history. There are numerous public rooms on the ground floor, each with its own unique character. You can expect original wooden floors, cozy carpets, and charming old beams! The food is excellent, and there's a great selection of beers, wines, and more. The staff are very welcoming, friendly, and professional. Outside, there's a large terrace with high-quality teak furniture, perfect for enjoying the surroundings. Kids will love the vintage tractor and ample space to run around. Be sure to make a reservation in advance to secure your spot!
Came here for a Sunday Roast. Lovely place. Sat outside. Place order at the bar. Food delicious- tender and fresh veg portions just right. Desserts yummy. Good selection all round. Friendly staff, child and dog friendly. Highly recommend. Good value for money.
