This is primarily a take out restaurant that is consistently delish. After the beach a huge plate of spicy chow fun hits the spot. The owners are gracious and quick. Highly recommend. View all feedback.
What Christine Bayer doesn't like about New Chinese Garden:
The crispy Gau Gee and rice tasted fine. But we did not like anything else we ordered. Which was Mongolian Beef and Stuffed Tofu. Burnt beef and onion or at least over cooked. I used to love stuffed tofu. But this was spongy, so maybe if you like fried tofu it would be different for you. But the taste of the sauce was not to my liking at all. I prefer the traditional gravy. Very rarely do I not eat something outright... View all feedback.

Danger! There was a sharp metal shaving in my food. Would have done serious harm if swallowed. Do not eat here!
Best soup been 12 years since I left Kailua and the owner still remembers me and my order always ate here for lunch when I lived here. Happy it was still open enjoyed the soup still tastes as delicious as I remember it.
Hands down best Chinese food on the island. Absolute best Peking duck I’ve ever had also. Food here is consistently excellent and the service is A+ always.
Ordered takeout for the first time over the phone and informed them of our food allergies. They made menu recommendations based on our needs and dishes were not only allergen free but were delicious.
