Delightful to sit outside in the covered patio area in front of the restaurant. Service and food were outstanding. First time I've seen a dessert sampler on the menu, which was Great! View all feedback.
What Gonzo Ayres doesn't like about Baci Bistro:
Terrible service. Took my wife here for our anniversary based on the good reviews. The waiter barely came by to check if we needed anything while we were there. Once we were done eating, it took him over 30 minutes to address us and he only came because my wife stopped him to ask for boxes. He made eye contact with my wife 3 times but didn’t bother to ask if we needed anything but he had time to stop to chat with the... View all feedback.
In town back home for a few days and we wanted one great meal experience. Baci delivered. Our server was on top of everything. We'll versed on the menu. Server was coordinated well. I love great service combined with great food. I only wish the brushetta had a little more time to have the flavors of the tomato and seasonings to marry prior to serving.I would return with no doubt.
Small and very quaint. Make sure to make your reservation.

The food here is slightly above average for Italian cuisine, especially given the area. Be prepared to spend 100+ dollars for two to comfortably dine. Drinks are decent. The food is good, not great. The server was a bit slow at first but great once the other tables were served wine. The burrata appetizer was 10/10. Highlight was the servers' attention once we got it. I'd say the risotto meets casual standards but would not qualify for fine dining. Decent place in Kailua for a night out, assuming you are ready for the price. Would go again to try the different menu items.
Love this place; its one of our go-to places for dates. I've never had a dish here that didn't taste great! My favorite is the vitello al limone, but they have different specials on different nights and those are always really good too. Our go-to dessert is creme brulee, and I love that they toast it right before they deliver it and the whole restaurant smells like marshmallow. Will always enjoy coming here : Parking: Parking lot is a metered lot. Street parking is free after a certain time
