The Coke didn't have a single ice cube, n... read more In the heat, we ordered two Coca-Colas (normally refreshing). When we received the two Cokes, we were quite surprised. The Coke didn't have a single ice cube, no carbonation, and wasn't cold at all; it was at room temperature. It tasted like a bottle that had been open for two days, or like water mixed with cola syrup. I'm still wondering what that Coke tasted like… Unfortunately, the Coke was undrinkable. We had to ask the waiter for ice cubes to cool things down even a little. When he brought them, there were exactly two ice cubes each. They melted in a minute. We couldn't finish the Coke. The people at the next table had also ordered, and I saw that they hadn't finished either. At the same time, we ordered deviled eggs: 90% salad and three egg slices (one whole egg cut in half plus half of another egg). We didn't understand the concept, let alone the price. Despite that, the servers were very friendly and pleasant, the atmosphere was lovely, and there was a shaded terrace. We didn't stay long, though, because we went to get a proper glass of Coke somewhere else.

After the aperitif, the meal continued flawlessly, from the impeccable starters and succulent, generous main courses to the delightful desserts that finished on a sweet note. There was a fine wine list with reliable selections. The service was provided by the young waiter, Kabinet, with professionalism and attentiveness. The icing on the cake that evening was the presence and performance of jazz pianist Mister Joel Forrester. An excellent American jazzman, well-known and renowned for over 50 years. A big thank you for this wonderful evening, thanks to the staff and this fabulous pianist. We will gladly return!

If they do something as simple as serving coffee with such dedication, I'm sure it's a true customer service culture... Let's debunk the myth of unfriendly tourists.
