The machines are tight here but the buffet is just terrible. We were there last night for the free buffet. Our drinks took forever they were short staffed. The rice dish was cold the fish was like rubber. The ice cream machine was still broken. They did not refill the soup pot so I did not get any. They are so dis organized it is not funny. I can see them shutting down in the near future. I will not go back. I have been going there on and off for 5 years thinking it will get better. Not happening. Good luck.

Staff issues is what we are told by employees about long waits for orders in the restaurant....and cold food as well! We enjoy the casino floor...nothing great as it relates to loose slots...but it is a comfortable, casual place to play! They tout their cheap burgers and hot dogs sold behind the bar...but after several attempts to get eatable items...we gave up...burgers soggy bun and dry meat...bartender told us to look at the burger before we leave the bar... because she said mold was found earlier on the buns! Ugh! Only food promotion worth having is the Seafood buffet....the Thursday $4.99 buffet is a great price...but most of the food is tasteless. ...again staff issues impact what could be a real contender here... hopefully some day they will get it together!

To be honest, I focused solely on those items and skipped the salads, potatoes, rice, and even the grilled King salmon available that night. While they offer a variety of seafood dishes, the crab and prime rib are what keep me coming back. Others in our group mentioned enjoying the desserts, but I found the overall quality of the buffet to be average at best outside of those two standout items. It's worth noting that the restaurant was a bit cold during our visit, but the service was satisfactory, with attentive staff providing complimentary non-alcoholic drinks and promptly clearing our used plates. I definitely plan to return soon for more fresh crab while it's in season. After that, they switch to frozen crab, which is common at many other places when it's off-season. I've tried it before and while it's decent, it doesn't compare to the fresh option available right now. If you're looking for a buffet where everything else is exceptional, I might recommend considering other options. Many of the additional dishes were just okay. However, I’ll be back for the fantastic deals on prime rib and crab, as those items, among others I mentioned, truly make it worth the trip.

I met a friend for lunch at Northwood Casino, and I was impressed by how efficient and friendly the staff were. I ordered a rib steak with a loaded baked potato, and it was cooked exactly as I requested. The potato was delicious, too! Unfortunately, I had no room for dessert, even though they looked tempting. I also enjoyed playing the slot machines, although I didn't have any big wins. Overall, I definitely recommend this place for a fun dining experience!

A couple of weeks ago, my husband and I met up with friends at a car show at the casino. We usually prefer lunch and gambling at another casino, but we were pleasantly surprised by how much cleaner and less smoky this smaller casino was. As always, we dropped a small donation into the machines, but we would definitely consider coming back when friends invite us again.
