The food was unimaginative (smoked trout with cream cheese was one starter and relied very heavily on traditional dishes but without great execution. Wines (admittedly this is burgundy were on the expensive side, (a few more reasonably priced ones could surely be offered? . The cheese plate was also poor two extremely bland cheeses alongside some (better Epoisses. Why can there not be at least a little choice? Definitely not going back.

The food was creative and every course was on mark with both presentation and taste. The wine list of primarily burgundy selections was outstanding, rivaling most lists in NYC. Our champagne aperativ from Billecart Salmon and a bottle from JJ Confuron Chambolle Musigny complemented our meal perfectly. The staff must be congratulated as well. Professional and friendly service was the rule, attentive throughout. La Table de Jerome is a real find. If you are in the Morvan is it a must stop. We will certainly be back on our next trip in September. Thank you for an amazing meal!

For those who are still in love with the traditional French professionalism and creativity in the kitchen and in front of house. Can't wait for our next visit.

The option of the 'Accords mets... read more This is bringing back tradition french cuisine with gusto. The menu was not extensive but the chef had chosen well. See photos. The option of the 'Accords mets et vins ' was a nice touch. The service staff were all young, which doesn 't always bode well, but they were professional and very pleasant and carried out their duties with expertise and showed extraordinary compassion to some older guests. The food was all we hoped it would be. From the 'Mise en bouche ' to the 'sphere chocolat ' everything was an experience worth paying for. Not a disappointment in site. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking the traditional french cuisine experience at a reasonable price. We shall be frequenting this establishment again.
