I ordered two vegetarian sandwiches, but when they arrived, my sandwich was supposed to have portabella mushrooms but instead had tofu. They tried to correct the mistake but fell a little short. This restaurant is one of the few places in northern Minnesota where you can get a vegan/vegetarian meal. I wish I could give a better review.

Not many options if you consider the split frit. In addition, it was charged when I asked for soup instead of pommes or chips as they were not vegan, but meal included and it was labeled vegan. Overall even the people I was with were not vegan not enjoying the food as it was over cooked and not very tasteful.

The restaurant was fabulo... read more We stayed in the main lodge, room 103. The room was cozy and clean. Great place to stay if you want to be close to many hiking trails. The restaurant was fabulous. All the staff was so friendly and accommodating. I would book again if we are up that way.

Rooms are nice and the beds are comfortable. The room was clean when we arrived. It's a very rustic hotel and we'll kept. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only thing I could complain about is all the dead flies on the inside of the window. Iwould definitely stay here again.
