Stopped in here for some ice cream and were happily surprised to find they had homemade options. Portions were huge and you had the option of splitting a single portion into two flavours which was great. I had strawberry and pistachio and my husband had vanilla and strawberry. I insist upon stopping at local candy and ice cream stores when visiting towns, so I obviously had this place on my list when visiting the lovely town of Lunenburg. The homemade ice cream was ok, but didn't compare to homemade ice creams that I've had elsewhere. It's on par with store bought ice cream, which is still pretty good, but nothing memorable. We came here during lunch time. The line-up was not too bad, considering it was a weekend. Lunenburg's best icecream!
While enjoying the many sights in Lunenberg, we came across this shop. On spur of moment decided to get some fudge , and glad we did as it’s the best we have ever had. Highly recommend!

The homemade caramel crunch ice cream in a waffle cone was SOOO GOOD. The staff were also very friendly and personable. 11/10 would recommend.
For some reason, this place stood out for us it was our first trip to Nova Scotia, and we had to rent a car to Lunenburg. This place did not disappoint. We got an assortment of ice cream and fudge for us and two daughters, who loved sitting on the flower decorated swings in the back of the place (a nice touch! great quality food and friendly staff made it an enjoyable experience.
