We arrived at noon during Tall Ships and the Folk Harbour Festival. The pub was super busy. We were greeted by a very friendly and professional staff. Our server was a delightful young lady. All the tables were taken so we were seated at the bar and our order was taken while we had a beer. What User doesn't like about The Knot Pub:
We heard great things about the Knot but did not find the pub as delightful as we had hoped. It was SO noisy and crowded and therefore service was not attentive. Service was done with a smile, but the waiting was much too long. The beer was good, the food was ok. View all feedback.
Wonderful historic location in Lunenburg. Love the wood booths. Gets pretty busy so make a reservation. Pub food at its best. So many choices.

We arrived at noon during Tall Ships and the Folk Harbour Festival. The pub was super busy. We were greeted by a very friendly and professional staff. Our server was a delightful young lady. All the tables were taken so we were seated at the bar and our order was taken while we had a beer. A table came available in approx. 10-15 mins and our food arrived a few minutes after we were seated. We each had fishcakes and fries and they were delicious. We noticed some of the food orders other patrons had and they all looked very tasty. All the portions, including our own were very generous. We finished with coffee as we were simply too stuffed for dessert! We truly experienced why Trip Advisor rates this pub highly in Lunenburg!
Much more than pub fare, we were treated to great service, good food, great beer and amazing root beer.
