Rustic vibes and delicious meats. We had the ribs, brisket, turkey and sausage. It was all sooo good. The sauce was so unique and when poured on the food made all the flavors pop. Definitely would recommend. The sides could be better but overall great experience. Excellent service. View all feedback.

Our first visit and it was ok. I wasn't super impressed with the ribs. Now the au gratin potatoes were a hit with me. My friend got the brisket sandwich and she enjoyed it. The staff are very friendly and the place is very clean. The service is speedy and courteous. View all feedback.
Big grill! Blind folded, it would be difficult to say the difference between this joint and City Market Grill. Quality like what you do in Lockhart, Elgin, Gonzalez... Hey, this is good ol' Texas slow smoked grill. Everything they serve is excellent; but they have a unique, different type of barbecue sauce (which is by the way very good); Seems to be mustard with perhaps a little vinegar; Various and pretty tasty. Would you like to go for a little afternoon?? Look at Luling Bar-BQ. Enjoy!
Good Brisket, good Vibes?. As a rule, a bbq place ensures that the flue gases get out where the public can get a whiff. It is a Pheromonal attractive for bbq lovers. However, I did not notice the quintessential meat and fire perfume until I entered the restaurant. You immediately know that you're gonna leave here smelling a nice smoked piece of meat. Nothing is wrong with it unless you work for the dog-pound where you can expect a revolt from the inmates after they get a load of you. This place is cafeteria style so that you place your order at the counter. Many choices for pages. The bride was perfect and the sauce was not bad, although I did not find excessively of a honey mustard vinegar tasting combination. The sausage... h-m-m-m. Maybe it was that it sat under the warming lights too long when it was a bit dry and lifeless. No darling. Potato salad was creamy with intermittent hops of potatoes. I liked how I did the tasteful pinto beans. I can see why this place is usually in the Top 50 bbq places for Texas. It's definitely not because of the hired help of the demeanor. The sour puss on both food servers said they would rather not be there. And that you can only treat a distraction until they have been able to return to their daily cleaning, increasing, etc. tasks. What a shame to get this kind of reception in a small town where you usually get on smiling, friendly people remarkable to win your business. Think I will probably go next time next time (as we did to try their fare . . . and the food handlers were a little more friendly)
Great BBQ. After a few samples at Shiner Brewrey, we made our way to Luling for a central Texas barbeque. The combo plate with Brisqet, chicken and two sides was very good. Brisquet was tender with good taste. The chicken corresponds to the task. I'm back.
Good grill. My wife and I have tried most places on the central Texas BBQ Trail except Luling Bar-B-Q. Well, I'm glad to report that this has changed. Luling Bar-B-Q has good food! My wife and I tried the bride and hot links. We found both to be tasteful and juicy. Actually, we both thought her meat was better than you could just get down the street. Try their sauce, a mild must mix that is quite good, especially on the left. When you visit, save space for the PIE. I forgot how good chocolate cake can taste.
Great sides!. We went on Labor Day! What was I thinking? It was very busy even 2:30pm. The only meat left was brisket sausage. But it was very good. The pea salad, potato salad okra were perfect. The white/vanilla cake was very moist delicious. I usually don't order sausage, but it was very tasty. Can't wait to go back try the ribs.
