It is a very old bar... the mastery of producing quality desserts has been passed from father to son. Ice creams, sweet pastries of all kinds, large and small, cannoli, puff pastries, fried zeppole, cassata..., cakes made to order... you can't help but be spoiled for choice. Even the breakfast with hot chocolate and croissants is top! All as required by the Apulian confectionery tradition. And if you walk along the little street a few steps from the center... you can always smell a delicious scent. I highly recommend it!

The Svevo bar in Lucera is an institution. I went there already in the 90s when the arcade was present and the legendary Gerardo was there. Over the years the place has been renovated while maintaining the style of the classic pastry shop and is still managed by his children. For me the best pastries you can find in the area, there is no story. It is possible to taste mignon, classic pastas and the legendary soup. The cakes are also phenomenal. Excellent price quality. Congratulations, keep it up.

Professionalism, kindness, patience, humility and friendliness are the qualities that characterize Michele and Rosaria, the owners of this historic pastry shop in Lucera. For my 40th birthday they prepared an overall fabulous cake : Rosaria was very patient in accommodating all my requests and very good at guiding me in the right choices, she also created a wonderful sugar paste puppet based on all the references that I sent her....I can conclude by saying that they are simply exceptional!
