Their tasting menu opti... read more One of the top meals I had in the region during my recent trip to Italy. I even got a chance to talk to Chef Mirko and his dad a little. Their tasting menu options are flexible, so I did their choose-whichever-you-want and took 4 dishes and added a dessert. 62 euros for dinner June 2024, very reasonably priced. I tried their uovo purgatorio, the squid ink and seafood ravioli (so good! , the salted eggnog sauce on a stuffed lamb donut, the pork belly with carrot sauce and anise (most delicious plate of the night , and their chocolate and peanut tart. The only thing a bit off was the tart because when it crumbled, the entire crust fell apart and it wasn't fused to the filling, so you had to work to get a bite of everything. Nonetheless, this place is very worth it to visit Lucera.

Having left Foggia we were looking for a nearby place for a high quality dinner and we found this little place in Lucera which won us over. Behind every dish there is study, work, knowledge, but above all passion, that of chef Mirko, but also of his family. We ate divinely, enjoying a real experience and the excellent value for money is just the icing on the cake. We will definitely return and in the meantime we can only wish luck major to the one who defines himself as a coquus !
