West Table is a restaurant with a lot of potential, but unfortunately, falls short in several key areas. While the food ranges from pretty good to excellent, the service leaves much to be desired. Despite the elegant environment and efficient food preparation process, the dining experience is marred by bizarre service practices, such as serving beer in a glass full of ice and insisting on chilling red wine for an extended period. On the positive side, the restaurant offers a great menu with delicious options and superb advice from servers like Travis. Parking is plentiful, and the prices are reasonable, making West Table a decent choice for those looking for a high-end dining experience in Lubbock.

It was amazing, I don't know how to describe it. we had a table reserved around 8 30 and waiting for one, it was graduation so many people, were set. we were a table of 14 and the waitress, god bless her, was super attentive, but not excessively angry. it was perfect, eating was great. never before I had escaped and it was in order, my father had the black and holy, I cannot describe how good that was. my mother had the more screaming who was a cut bark masterpiece in an Asian style sauce (do not quote me on the sauce). the calamari had ordered 4 dishes and good, they were emptied and I mean, with a fork cleanly scratched and the only thing that stops people from licking the teller was the restaurant itself. I can't forget the vigilantes and spit on, I don't like a bark shoot and let them tell them I was behind them in front of the quail. that says something. welp to finish the review my vater and I made sweating about a trip back to lubbock just to have a meal from this place. I just studied tech and moved to ohio, he lives in houston. we will see if it is a sweat or becomes true, but it is explicitly good.

We went out to eat here a few weeks ago for our anniversary--our first time dining in since the pandemic got bad. The food here was incredible, and even with the new social distance layout we liked the atmosphere. We had attentive, friendly service and they made sure cocktails, appetizers, and entrees were all just right. We really enjoyed the grilled quail and the Vietnamese style strip steak. Great cocktails too. We will not wait for the next special occasion to be back!

We had dinner here for our anniversary and WOW! Food was amazing. The Quail and Brussel Sprout were to die for. The Crab Hushpuppies were little balls of heaven. Light crispy little pillows. Dry Aged Chops and Steaks were soooo juicy! Blood Orange Poppy Cake... get it! ‐ The ambiance was pretty cool. Very modern industrial look. Very nice place to have drinks as well as a full dinner. The tables are pretty spaced out so you don't have to worry about bumping chairs or screaming at your table. They had Live music which was a little echoed but he was playing more in the lobby of the building. ‐ The service was impeccable. We were greeted by three different members of the staff right away and our host even sat us earlier then our reservation time. We never had to worry about refills and the entrees came out after plenty of time enjoying the appetizers. The server went above and beyond getting me a beer that was no longer on the menu and was helpful with his app and entree suggestions.

We came here tonight for our anniversary dinner. This place is a 10/10! The food was incredible. The service was amazing. Trevor was our server and he did an awesome job. He started off by asking if we had any allergies which I appreciated so much, especially since I usually have to ask questions about a few of my allergies. So thoughtful! We splurged a bit and it was soooworth it. Got the beef bulgogi lettuce wraps to start and they were phenomenal. Then came the bone marrow next. It was soflavorful! I ordered the Tiger Steak (not sure of exact name) and it was served with fried rice and Thai salad. It was seasonedwith some sort of Thai flavors, and oh man...it melted in my mouth! So delicious. My husband ordered the pork chop dish withnoodles instead of what came with it as a suggestion from our server and he loved it as well. We finished off with some lavenderlemon black berry cake with buttermilk icing and it was yummy! We didn't have a bad thing here. In fact, everything wasincredible! Even the place itself felt so nice. Could not recommend enough. Your tastebuds won't be disappointed ????

One of the oddest experiences in dining we 've had in a long time. Super neat space, modern but still cozy, ground floor of a small hotel(? . Very interesting menu and the food ranges from pretty good to excellent. But the service So I asked for ahigh-end beer which was brought to me in the bottle. No glass. I asked for the glass and it was brought to me full of ice. Iasked the waitress, do people usually put their beer over ice here in Lubbock? She said oh yes. Huh. Then we ordered a bottle ofred wine. I asked if it was chilled or the typical Texas red in summertime which is way too warm. She said it 'll be warm and weasked if we could have an ice bucket. She disappeared for about 10 minutes. When she came back, she said, We have a white winewith a very similar taste profile that is already chilled, would you like that one? Uh, no, but thanks. I asked where our winewas and she said her manager was chilling it for us. I said that 's not necessary and could take some time. If you just bring usan ice bucket it will be fine. She said no, company policy. Eventually the manager showed up, presented us the wine and asked usto feel the bottle. Yes, nicely chilled. 30 minutes after our arrival. He also explained it was company policy to chill thewines for the customers. So... nice ambiance, interesting menu, decent food, bizarre service.
