Incredible coffee! As someone who used to work in the industry, it's nice to see a company that can create real microfoam, and they do a beautiful job on the pour. Delicious and high quality. Will be back. View all feedback.
What Wyatt Schaefer dislikes about Monomyth Coffee:
The coffee was not good. I got a cold brew and my buddy got The Spring. The cold brew tasted like smokey water and was very transparent. Cold brew should be brewed very strongly and using dark beans. Wowzers! Yes! I was able to order my favorite, Chai Tea with Oat milk, and then they made it dirty, damn, and delicious ? ? It felt as if I were drinking a cup of love. Thank you, I tried to make the review match the love amount not sure if I did.Namaste????? ?
I found a nice café near the campus that serves traditional espresso drinks and seemingly homemade pastries. Although I didn’t sample the food, the pastry display was quite appealing. Street parking was available, and I had no trouble finding a spot on a Sunday morning. The café itself was very clean and had a modern, fresh vibe. I ordered an iced Americano, which was acceptable, but I expected more depth in the espresso flavors since they promote themselves as a craft shop using their own beans. I would have appreciated more expertise from the baristas regarding their espresso options, but they seemed a bit uninterested and unsure. Overall, it's decent coffee for West Texas, but I may explore other cafés during the rest of my trip.
