Great steaks as usual. Come here rarely as the meals can be pricey, but you can still have an affordable meal here as well. The ambience is great. Parking can be crowded at times but they do have a parking lot as well as plenty of street parking. Bar is nice as well. Service was excellent. View all feedback.
What Paola doesn't like about 740 Front:
I wouldn't suggest this as an anniversary spot. If you don't look like money they will toss you aside and forget about you until your food comes up.The hostes stand is no better they will most likely treat you like trash just like the rest of the staff.I had to flag someone down I the food is good but nothing worth the service View all feedback.
Food was delicious and loved the decor. The bar was gorgeous, from mid 1800's. Will definitely go again. This was our first time. We went for our anniversary. Tyler our server was a delight. He made it a very special experience.
We were able to get in for Mother's Day. Very cool atmosphere and ambiance. The food was fantastic. The service was just ok. Two members of our party ordered salads and it was like they forgot about them. All of the food came and we waited and waited and finally had to ask. All In all would go again.
The waiter was great. very attentive and nice. The ambience was very cool; neat old wooden bar. The food was pretty good. Good cocktails. The steaks were cooked perfectly, but the cut was way thinner than expected and because of that, seemed overpriced.
We made a 5pm reservation to take advantage of the happy hour menu but were told we couldn't order from it unless we sat in the bar and since there was no seating available, we were out of luck. Very disappointing customer service attitude.
Louisville classic for upscale eats! Cozy cornerstone.
