Beautiful venue! Attentive staff. Interacted with three employees at different times and all were so accommodating. Could not recommend this place enough.

Beautiful. Always has been.I remember my first visit to this Park. I was 14....so 60 years ago.My sister lived in Elyria and we live in SC. Visited her and her husband about every 5 years in the summer...this is the first place we wanted to visit.It changed over the years.After our recent last visit I can say it is as beautiful as ever but completely different than it started out in the 1960's.Well said about how Lorain and Lorain County has kept this beautiful place up.The Easter Basket was different back then, so very happy that is still a big part of the Park.

Lovely park in Lorain, Ohio! Part of the Lorain County Metro Parks system. Views of Lake Erie are gorgeous especially pre-sunset! Beach very clean! Trails and restrooms available etc. Visited after having dinner near by. Perfect ending for the day.

Rose garden is beautiful in late spring to early summer when roses are in full bloom. Fountain and roses are a nice backdrop for wedding, prom, and homecoming photos. Beach is ok, shallow swimming area with a lifeguard posted during peak season. Sand could be nicer but it is a lake beach. Summer beach volleyball tournaments are held here. Also a good spot to watch storms out over the lake.Picnic area: Nice covered pavilions, you can reserve them for events.
