Pho Vietnamese - Longview
Pho Vietnamese
Description
Nestled in a modest setting, this restaurant offers a mixed dining experience that divides patrons. While some rave about the fresh ingredients and flavorful pho that rival offerings from larger cities, others express disappointment over portion sizes and food inconsistencies. The establishment's charm lies in its sweet and dedicated owner, though service can be hit or miss, with reports of dirty menus and unappetizing drinks. Affordable prices make it tempting for the brave diner, but caution is advised given uneven quality. Despite its flaws, loyal patrons encourage support for the business, hoping for improvement as it navigates the tough economic landscape.

For $30, we received two very small pho bowls with practically no meat, just noodles and broth. The spring rolls were priced at $2-$3, and the egg rolls at $4-$3, but they were also very small. We chose this place because I heard they might be struggling due to the economy, and the other pho restaurant is always rude. However, it looks like I might have to either endure the rudeness or learn to make pho myself! Maybe the takeout would be better—I really can’t say for sure.
The woman was so sweet and the food was absolutely amazing. We asked for spring rolls for appetizers and she had them out so quickly. Vegetarian options: Tofu substitutes for meat as well as dishes with only vegetables. Dietary restrictions: She offered vegetarian and vegan options Parking: The parking is close to the restaurant therefore there was little walking done in the heat Kid-friendliness: She had those seats that little kids sit in
