Sti... read more Let’s talk about the food. We started with chips and red sauce. The chips were decent, and the red sauce was tasty, though it reminded us a bit of Albert’s. Still, it was good! Next, we were served our tacos, starting with the barbacoa, which was superb from start to finish. It was visually appealing, with perfectly cooked brisket strands and garnishes of cilantro and onion. The double corn tortillas were soft and warm, enhancing the delicious flavor of the meat. It was so flavorful that it didn’t even need any added sauce. Honestly, this was the best barbacoa we've had in the past four years! Then came the chorizo tacos, which were good but couldn’t quite compare to the barbacoa. We also enjoyed elote entero, which had a generous amount of cheese—more cheese is always a plus! This corn on the cob was fantastic, and we definitely prefer it over corn served in a cup. We shared a beef huarache next, which was tasty but the beef was the least favorite of our choices that day. Finally, we tried the sope with pastor, which was excellent—the pork flavor ranked second for us, just behind the barbacoa. Overall, the pork was delicious as well! The atmosphere is cozy, with only 18 seats among 5 tables, but there’s ample parking and enough outdoor seating, most of which is shaded. It really has a charming taqueria drive-in vibe. The pricing was excellent too: 4 tacos, 2 corns, 1 huarache, 1 sope, and 2 bottles of Joya carbonated apple drink for just $25. However, they didn’t have Diet Dr Pepper, so we opted for the Mexican apple juice instead. The service was typical but friendly. We would definitely visit again— in fact, we’ve already planned to order from there for a large group in a few weeks!
