Don't pay attention to those one-star reviews from people who clearly don't know what they're talking about. This restaurant is the best place I've ever eaten, and I've dined all around the world. It's true soul food! From the moment you walk in, you feel treated like family. It's truly the best place ever, and the food is amazing!
John and I went for the first time on Saturday. the first thing we felt was welcome and we were treated with the utmost respect. I felt totally home. that was the most delicious and we even ordered our meals for Sunday. but we had a need and had to cancel our order. but we will come back! next time we get one if the not so small hamburger lol
I don't usually write reviews, but I have to say this is the best food I've had in Longview in a long time! The dishes were fresh, hot, and incredibly delicious. Our server was a real gem who went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. If you're searching for a place that feels welcoming as soon as you step inside, this is it. We will definitely return!

Great food, great staff, a bit pricey but I believe it was worth it. Got the chicken fried steak and it was good size proportion and tasted great. I got the fried okra with it and also great. Staff was on point with welcoming smiles and well taken care of. Drinks were constantly refilled without ever saying a word
