I visited Duke's for the first time on July 6, 2023, and it was amazing! Since I don't eat fish, I ordered a burger and fries for my son, while I opted for the chicken fried steak and fried green tomatoes. The chicken fried steak was out of this world; I've never tasted anything like it before! The fried green tomatoes just melted in my mouth! My son really enjoyed his huge, delicious cheeseburger and fries. I'm actually thinking about going back today! Plus, my friend, Mr. Terry Cooks, ordered a whole catfish and a huge plate of beans, and he said it was fantastic. He plans to go back for more today as well! So watch out, Duke's, here we come!

The peach cobb... read more After three years since my last review, I decided to give this restaurant another chance. Unfortunately, the baked potato I received was spoiled. The peach cobbler has increased in price once again, now costing nearly $5 for just three bites. The two hush puppies served were quite small. When I called to express my concerns, they offered me a free side on my next visit, but that doesn’t seem like a sufficient response. As I have for the past three years, I will continue to drive past this establishment. Moreover, they were dealing with a serious methane gas issue that made me feel nauseous. They mentioned that they had their septic tank pumped, but I own a tank myself and have never encountered such a terrible smell.

Despite the transition, both of my waitresses were very friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable. I will definitely return!

The... read more Had the hot and cold boiled shrimp and a side of mac cheese. It was very good. My friend had the all you can eat catfish plate and he enjoyed all his sides. The mac cheese was some of the best restaurant made I have had. The boiked shrimp was nit over cooked and had a nice flavor. Prices are reasonable.

The waitress was very attentive, the food was excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect.
