I haven’t experienced any of the stomach issues others have mentioned, and I eat here once or twice every day of the week. As a cafeteria serving large quantities, it’s understandably challenging to get every dish perfect. While some items like rice are ones I usually avoid, and pizza and chicken can be hit or miss, there’s almost always at least one good option available. The overall quality has improved over the past few years, with more gourmet choices like Kalamata olives and sun-dried tomatoes offered as toppings for pasta or salads. Desserts have been excellent this semester, and the new artisan bread is a nice addition. Sure, I could probably eat better and cheaper off campus by making my own meals, but for a school cafeteria of this size, it’s pretty good—and it definitely saves time not having to cook! My only gripe is that the silverware bins are often greasy and have crumbs at the bottom. I’m not sure how that happens, but they should really wash both the silverware and the bins more thoroughly.

It could have been better, but I'm giving 5 stars to Jesse and Miss Shirley!

Bon Appétit dominates the dining options for LeTourneau students, enjoying a guaranteed customer base with no competition, which leaves them little motivation to improve their food. It shows—there’s a lack of daily variety and the chicken is often undercooked. Until they face some competition, the quality isn’t likely to improve.

The food is well prepared and the service is the best I have ever seen. Eating here everyday can get old but that is not unique to the corner cafe. Students call it Saga. The atmosphere is good. As with any eatery, there are good days and bad days, but the good outweigh the bad under the new management. warm cookies on Wednesday’s and omelettes are especially delightful.

The food selection here is exceptional compared to other universities I've visited. There are always vegetarian options available, which is great for those who need them. Most days, you'll find a variety of cuisines, including Mediterranean, Italian, Mexican/Asian, as well as grilled and home-style buffet options. While the lines can be long at times, and the atmosphere isn't quite like a cozy restaurant, it's still a fantastic choice for students, staff, and visitors at LeTourneau University!
