The food is well prepared and the service is the best I have ever seen. Eating here everyday can get old but that is not unique to the corner cafe. Students call it Saga. The atmosphere is good. As with any eatery, there are good days and bad days, but the good outweigh the bad under the new management. warm cookies on Wednesday’s and omelettes are especially delightful.
The food selection here is exceptional compared to other universities I've visited. There are always vegetarian options available, which is great for those who need them. Most days, you'll find a variety of cuisines, including Mediterranean, Italian, Mexican/Asian, as well as grilled and home-style buffet options. While the lines can be long at times, and the atmosphere isn't quite like a cozy restaurant, it's still a fantastic choice for students, staff, and visitors at LeTourneau University!
Bon Appétit has a monopoly over LeTourneau students; they have a guaranteed income and no competition, giving no incentive to make good food. And you can tell they don't have incentive. No day-to-day variety in food, consistently undercooked chicken. Until there is competition it will not get better.
Great buffet option at Letourneau University. We visited for breakfast, and everything was fresh and of high quality.
It's okay I guess. Does the chocolate milk HAVE to be the cheapest brand though? C'mon, it's $8 a meal for crying out loud, gimme some good chocolate milk. I'm 90% sure it's the same as Great Value's; you do know that Kroger's brand doesn't cost much more, right? It's WAY better, just get that chocolate milk instead. Heck, just use chocolate milk powder on regular milk, or just mix regular milk with chocolate syrup — ANYTHING but Great Value's chocolate milk. I will literally raise this review to 5 stars if you make the chocolate milk better.
