"We recently moved to the area and decided to try this restaurant for dinner. The parking lot felt quite dark and unsafe. Once inside, we noticed it wasn't busy at all, yet we were seated right by the kitchen. When we asked to be moved, we were told that due to a lack of staff, it would take a while to get another table in a mostly empty restaurant. The noise and loud conversations from the kitchen staff were distracting, making it difficult for us to enjoy our own conversation. Additionally, our table and seats were not clean; they felt sticky and unkempt. On a positive note, the food was tasty, and the tea was incredibly sweet. Our waiter was attentive and did a great job. Unfortunately, due to the overall experience, we won't be returning."
Had a great experience tonight. my mom chose her birthday. we sat pretty fast, we had luck with one of the biggest waiters. jake! Although he wasn't wearing khakis or a red polo, he was great. we had a big group, but it wasn't too big for jake. all our orders were correct, our drinks did not remain low or empty for any time. I recommend it very much!
Everything was amazing from the beginning to the end glad that I decided to give Chilis as a whole another attempt, so glad that I tried it here. I think they were the brand. Food: 5/5
Chili's in Longview has garnered mixed reviews, highlighting significant inconsistencies in service and food quality. Some diners encounter long waits and confusion over their orders, leading to dissatisfaction, while others have enjoyed positive experiences with attentive staff and delightful meals. A repeating theme is the struggle with to-go orders, where items may arrive poorly prepared or incomplete. Despite this, a number of patrons laud the location for its fresh food and great service, expressing gratitude for the efforts of the staff. Ultimately, while some leave disappointed, others find joy in what the restaurant has to offer.

It's interesting to note that Chili's in Longview has had five different general managers in the past decade. Perhaps the issue isn't with the managers themselves, but rather with their regional manager, Dave.
I had the worst service for lunch today. It's important to remember that people don't have unlimited time during their workday lunch breaks. It took over 20 minutes just for someone to take our order.
I usually enjoy going to Chili's; I love their entire menu. Unfortunately, today I experienced the worst service I’ve ever had! I visited for lunch...

There was no host there to seat us, so we just found a clean empty booth and sat down. Eventually a waiter came to take our order. Then another waiter brought us our food and asked us what we were drinking so she could refill our drinks; since ourglasses were empty. Finally after we were done eating we had to wait another 30 minutes for the bill. I had to tell anotherwaiter to go to the back and see what was going on. The other waiter told me that they had given our bill to the wrong table, and that they thought we had paid already. I have eaten at a lot of Chili?s restaurants and this one is by far the worst.
Chili's is typically one of my favorite dining spots, but the Longview location has fallen short of my expectations. I ordered my usual favorite, the Chicken Marguerite, along with a half order of Texas Cheese Fries, using Door Dash for convenience. Unfortunately, when my food arrived, the chicken was quite dry, and the steamed broccoli was undercooked and still had a crunch to it. The Texas Cheese Fries were excellent, as always, but I could only enjoy them after making a trip to a local convenience store to buy silverware, as none were provided in the bag. I’m not sure if they were particularly busy at 4:00 PM, but they really need to ensure that their to-go orders are just as appealing as those served in the restaurant, especially since we pay the same, if not more, for the convenience. I've had no issues with takeout from other locations. Considering the number of restaurants in the area, I probably won’t be returning to this one.
This visit was just average. In our seating area, there were flies on the wall, which was off-putting. My chicken bacon ranch quesadillas were tasty, but my husband's burger was terrible; everything was piled on top of it. He didn’t want to order anything else, so they gave him a refund. They seemed to have a problem with getting orders right and were delivering the wrong dishes to different tables, which was confusing. On a positive note, our server was excellent.
Everything was amazing from beginning to end! I'm thrilled that I chose to give Chili's another shot, and I'm even more delighted that I visited this location. They truly surpassed my expectations!
