The food is decent. I've been coming here for years because it feels like home. However, it’s quite pricey for the small portions. A three-meat plate with a drink costs $22, which feels excessive. Adams BBQ in Lakeport (formerly Bodacious) offers a much better experience. Additionally, the 4% surcharge for using credit or debit cards feels outdated—this is a digital age after all. Awesome atmosphere, phenomenal customer service, and the best tasting bbq.
The barbecue service is fantastic, especially for call-in orders.
The staff is friendly and the establishment is clean. I highly recommend the pork ribs, which are excellent. However, I was disappointed with the brisket—it lacked a good bark, had a mild smoke flavor, and was a bit soggy in texture.
The two young ladies that was working was very nice
