The best little pizzeria in Longmont! The garlic knots were fantastic and the pizza was simply perfect. What Gramuesi doesn't like about Rosalee's Pizzeria:
Very tasty food, ok wine, and fun atmosphere as long as you arrive before 7 pm as they close by 8 pm on weekdays. We started eating at 7:30 and by 7:45 they put chairs up on tables and started to sweep around us, which essentially ruined our nice date. Easily the best NY pizza I’ve had in Colorado. In fact, I don't think I've had a NY style pizza this good since I was last in New York. This would easily hold it's own in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Staten Island, etc etc. SOME criticisms. The dough/crust was some what bland. This might have been a one off as I've only been there once. Or maybe they have short/day of rise times? Not certain. Either way it doesn't matter as this isn't Neapolitan where the crust is all the flavor and is rather a means to deliver the flavor. So with that in mind it did it's job perfectly. Perfectly cooked/crisp and maintained it's strength even though the center was very thin. Their sauce had a well developed robust flavor to it. The cheese was flavorful full fat mozz (a little greasy but that's personal preference). High quality pepperoni's that had great flavor and obviously cupped up when cooked. This is a solid 8.3 pizza (DP Scale) and while I haven't had them all (yet), you'd be hard pressed to find a better NY style pizza in Colorado.
Perfect east coast/NY style thin crust pizza!! Great waitress and staff is very friendly. Would certainly come back!
We had heard rave reviews about rosalees. We went and it wasn’t too busy, got a seat at the bar. Ordered a smaller pizza (the one with white sauce and we added pepperoni) took a good 45+ plus to get the pizza, they did tell us it was taking awhile so that’s really okay! The pizza was huge! But I honestly wasn’t blown away. It was good, and a lot of food for the price! But I thought it was going to be way more memorable than it was. Also I got an insane rush and it was bad. Maybe it was not refrigerated or it was old, but it was not good at all.
The pizza is fine. I wish there were more options for toppings. The service is great. Everyone is very attentive and kind. The indoor seating is small and very loud-not good for me as I have noise sensitivity and I am deaf in one ear. The outdoor seating is very cozy and I love that they provide blankets.
Legit northeast experience right here. Been here several dozen times over the years and their pizza is consistently great.
