The rudest staff I can remember having the displeasure of meeting. We we staying in the hotel and had dinner reservations, but we left before eating. Because there was nothing else open, we ended up getting a couple of burgers later to go. They were pretty good. We will never come back.

The manager was working the bar, not able to care for customers. The restaurant ran out of the drinks, and the menu items we wanted and made our reservations for. We sat for an hour after our starters, still waiting for our main course, when we finally flagged down our server. She apologized and then went into the kitchen to have our food made, it was fresh and hadn't been attended in the hour we sat. This place has a lock on the hotel guests, but it was in general disappoiting. This was a festival weekend and the restaurant ran out of food and beverage options on a Friday night, not good.

Food was very expensive and had minimal taste. German chocolate cake was delicious but main entrees pretty tasteless. Menu needs to be replaced; who wants soggy pickled mushrooms on a pizza that causes crust to get soggy when simple sautéed mushrooms would have been much simpler and tastier. Mac and cheese was very cheesy but bland like dry store purchased. Have had very tasty mac and cheese elsewhere; this was just bland and yuk!

Made a reservation over a week ago and got seated on the side of window against a pole. Like everywhere else portions are getting smaller and prices higher. We always get the rock fish which was wonderful in the past now it’s a 26 dollar fish and chips. Drinks were excellent and so was service.

We’ve dined at the Pickled Fish a few times over the years when visiting Long Beach because of the location/view and food. That said we won’t be going back after our recent visit. Food and view are still good but service was poor. Took forever to get drinks and food. No accommodations for dietary restrictions (server was rude about it). We left very disappointed.
