Description

Nestled in Long Beach, this casual, homey spot is a breakfast institution known for oversized omelets, fluffy pancakes, crunchy hash browns and thick-sliced ham. Portions are generous and budget-friendly, with post-2pm specials. The clean, wheelchair-accessible restaurant offers ample parking, takeout and delivery. Service is mixed—many patrons praise attentive staff while others report billing errors, occasional indifference and even poor treatment of delivery drivers. Overall, hearty homemade comfort food and big portions keep customers coming back.

The restaurant is exceptionally clean, and both the food and service are outstanding. The kitchen team is excellent and takes great pride in upholding high standards of quality. The owner is present on-site, not just supervising but also working alongside the staff. I highly recommend this establishment.

The way a restaurant treats its delivery drivers often reflects how they handle other unseen aspects, including the food itself. In my experience, which spans about ten visits, not one has been enjoyable. There’s always an unpleasant attitude, regardless of how polite or cheerful you may be—it's as if they simply dislike serving their remote customers, showing a lack of respect for us. I feel compelled to adopt a "grey rock" approach here, as these individuals don’t seem to respond to kindness or extra courtesy; they just remain unfriendly and disrespectful.
