Nestled in a charming atmosphere, this restaurant offers a mix of Southern cuisine that evokes both delight and disappointment. The excellent service and well-maintained surroundings added to the appeal, making for a positive dining experience overall. The service was excellent, and we had a great time during our visit. However, I wouldn't recommend the catfish—it was quite fishy and undercooked. The crab cakes we ordered as an appetizer were also overpriced for what we received.
The service was excellent and the food was delicious and served hot. We go to Lil Ray's roughly once a month and rarely encounter any problems. The prices are reasonable considering the portion sizes.
We went to Lil' Ray's Restaurant and the food was good! The service was a little slow, but the food made it worth it. Would recommend the shrimp tacos, seafood gumbo, and crabby jack poboy.
Food was really good. Atmosphere was good. Wait staff was busy talking trash about their working conditions. A bit unprofessional if you ask my opinion.
We went in with neighbors and had lunch while we were driving around for the Jeepin the Coast festivities.
