Meatless mike (meatball sandwich) with vegan cheese lettuce and tomato is one of my favorite sandwiches anywhere. I’ve eaten often at the Westwood location for work and happy to have one in Long Beach now. Great to be able to grab a quick vegan sandwich during the work day.

I have to give them credit for having the best gluten-free bread; I’d give a star just for that. I tried the Matt Cain sandwich, but honestly, it was one of the worst sandwiches I've ever had. Compared to places like Panini's, Jersey Mike's, and Jimmy John's, there’s just no comparison in terms of flavor. Their slogan says, "This is not your momma’s sandwich shop," which made me laugh. But paying $20 for a sandwich, chips, and a soda? Not worth it.

Great visit and experience super friendly staff and a fantastic sandwich. Got a dirtbag sandwich and it was awesome, the bread is more than just a delivery system for the filling of your sandwich and that makes a difference. Key factor of a well made sandwich, it doesn't fall apart and this didn't either. Worth the price tag but not an every day eating spot because of it as well.

I've been living in Long Beach for about a year now and finally decided to try Ike's! I ordered a tuna sandwich and a vegetarian meatball sub on house bread to share with my girlfriend. The tuna sandwich was decent, but the house bread was a bit too sweet for my liking. Still, I managed to eat my half. It has a sugary crumble topping that adds to the sweetness. However, the meatball sub was completely different from what I had expected. I could only take two bites before I had to throw it away. I definitely wouldn't recommend this sandwich, especially considering the price—I spent $27 just on the two sandwiches!

I absolutely love this place! Their sandwiches are, hands down, the best I've ever had. The prices are a bit on the higher side—$15 for a sandwich is quite a leap from the old $5 footlongs at Subway. However, the taste of their sandwiches far surpasses Subway and any other sandwich shop I've visited. I highly recommend Ike's Love Sandwiches. Just remember to bring your wallet and come with an empty stomach! I've tried to save half a sandwich for later, but I usually find myself back in 30 minutes, having convinced myself to eat it right away. I've learned not to tease myself when it comes to Ike's—when I get a sandwich, I sit down and don’t get up until it's all gone!
