This is our favorite place for morning coffee and evening pizza. It's definitely one of my top spots on 2nd Street!
I haven't had a bad experience here yet; the coffee drinks are excellent, and the breakfast is fantastic! They also serve amazing baguette sandwiches that are both hearty and fresh. This place is a neighborhood favorite!
Exceptional bakery and café with outstanding quality. They also serve delicious pizzas. While the prices are a bit high, they are definitely worth it. The establishment ensures a living wage for its servers, which means you can enjoy your meal without the need to tip.
Love the people and food sold here are unsurpassed. When they opened there was a sign that explained the pricing reflected and living wage and that the tip was built in to the menu prices. (Most expensive spot for a cap and munchie) then one day a tip line appeared at check out. What?!? I thought it was part of the high price?? Needless to say not tipping puts me in an awkward situation If I don’t tip is it because I don’t appreciate their cheerful competence? If I add it in now I’m at $16 for a coffee and roll…. I just go someplace else farther but also good (price/budget issues) thanks for letting me vent. We attended their place during Long Beach food event. One slice of pizza was 4 tickets, which was about 6 USD. For that price we assumed we get a normal slice of pizza. We were quite surprised when we found out that slice of pizza actually means one third of a slice. Based on this experience, we would not support this business further, because we feel like it is cheapy with its customers, if not right out scammy. Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
